Audi R10 TDI Completes 30 Hour Acid Test in France

Audi R10 TDI: Completing successful 30 hour test in France

Audi R10 TDI
The Audi R10 TDI has achieved a major milestone on its way to win the 24h of LeMans again.
The 2007 version of the Audi R10 TDI, which won the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring last month in the opening round of the American Le Mans Series, completed a 30-hour test last Friday at Paul Ricard in France. Three of the diesel-powered prototypes have been invited to the 75th running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in June.

The R10 has survived another acid-test in preparation for the 24 Hours of Le Mans on 16/17 June 2007: Audi Sport Team Joest successfully completed a 30-hour endurance test with the revolutionary Diesel sportscar at Paul Ricard (France) on Good Friday. The test also allowed an opportunity for Audi's latest factory driver additions, including Mattias Ekström, Lucas Luhr, Alexandre Prémat and Mike Rockenfeller, to log some hours behind the wheel of the car.
